MINIMOLD GROUP

Minimold is a full service producer of small and medium size plastic components for the automotive industry.

Established in 1977, basically as a mold producer, the company soon moved into molding and concentrated on the automotive industry, and in particular items for car safety and parts for electronics. More recently it has begun producing more aesthetic (often painted) parts for interiors and exteriors, and functional components directly for the OEMs.
In house capabilities include mold design and construction, injection molding, painting and assembly; while metal parts, springs and chrome plating are provided through certified strategic supplier partnerships.

Minimold International

Minimold International SRL is a wholly owned molding and assembly company located in Timisoara, Romania (an LCC country which is part of the European Union).
Timisoara plant is totally supported by Minimold SpA Italy for marketing and sales, engineering and management.
Minimold International was established in 2012, and currently produces 20% of total Minimold consolidated turnover, shipping to Romania, Italy, Macedonia, China and the US.
It currently has 21 molding machines (between 50 and 350 tons), automatic distribution of raw materials in the main production facility.

TRC SRL

In early fiscal 2017 Minimold SpA acquired 60% of TRC, a small company dedicated to the painting of aesthetic plastic components particularly for the automotive industry.
The company was active in the industry since the 1970’s, and had been an important Minimold supplier since the 1990s.
With the acquisition, Minimold became a truly full service supplier of plastic components for the car industry. Since the acquisition a major upgrade of TRC was undertaken, both to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the automatic paint process.
